Location 6

San Antonio Texas is the place that I am visiting next. It is in America. Washington D.C. South America, Mexico, and Canada boarder it. The Pacific and Atlantic ocean boarder this country.
100 degrees in latitude and 30 degrees longitude. Very hot and dry. It like a city in some places and like a desert in others. Texas used to be all ranches and cowboys and cattle and horses and some parts still are. It has one of the youngest volcanoes in its areas. 7,058 miles from my last location is how far I traveled. I flew to my sixth location. All my trips added together cost me $21,604. I felt that I had accomplished something when I got done traveling and I thought that everything I saw was amazingly beautiful. I learned that not eveyone lives like us we all have different cultures and we need to respect that. My family is so excited to have me home I walked into a huge welcome home party and got to tell everything that I saw.

Fifth location

I am visiting the volcano Ulleungdo. It is in South Korea. The capital of this country is Seoul.
North Korea and Japan boarder this country. The North pacific ocean boarders South Korea. The GPS cordinates of this location are Longitude 40 degrees and Latitude 130 degrees. The climate for South Korea is very cold in the winter and their winter is long. South Korea is like New York city in some parts and then it is like Baxter state park in Maine in other parts. South Korea became a country after World War II. This is an important location because almnost the entire island is mad of trachyandesite rock. And it hasn't exploded in over 9,000 years. South Korea is 6,040 miles away from Italy. I flew from my fourth location to my fifth location. It cost me 1,800 dollars for a flight and hotel I will take a but to where I need to be then that will cost extra. I had a 2 hour delay but then i was on my way and nothing happened from there. The biggest difference from my last locations was the buildings all the big building in South Korea are like New York City but in Italy where I just left all the buildings were 100 years old.

Fourth Location

My fourth location is Mt. Etna in Sicily, Italy. The capitol of Italy is Rome. France and Germany boarder it. The Mediterranean sea also boarders the country. Latitude10 degrees longitude 40 degrees. Italy's climate is alot like in Maine it get cold in the winter like 0 degrees and then it gets 80-90 in the summer on hot days. Italy has a lot of old buildings it has a lot of historic sites also. By 509 BC Italy had gone through 7 Kings. This Location is important because it has a volcano that I want to know a lot about. 9,516t miles from my last location. I flew in a plane and I took a boat. I had one layover but it didn't last very long. 2,899 Is how much it cost for the flight the car and the hotel. I was scared the whole time becasue I never never been so far away from home and I didn't speak the languages very well but I am getting more and more used to it.

Third location

The Volcano that I am going to see is Erebus. There are no countries that boarder Antarctica it is its own. The South Atlantic the Pacific and The Indian ocean boarder the Antarctica. Longitude 0 degrees latitude 80 degrees. The climate of my location is very cold you need a coat hat mittens ski pants and everything else everyday. Even the days that it is sunny it is very cold. Everything is ice and huge ice burgs everywhere. Antarctica was found by Seafarers only 180 years ago. This is an important location because it has a volcano that is almost always acting up. It is 6,753.71 miles away from my last location. I flew to get to my third location. It cost around $2,057 to fly from Ethiopia to Antarctica. I had no problems in my travels I got there smothly and then was cold. It was a huge difference from my last location because it was so cold that I thought I was gonna freeze but everything else went great.

Second Location

The next volcano that I am going to visit is in Ethiopia it is called Erta Ale. Addis Ababa is the capitol of Ethiopia. It is bordered by Kenya, Sudan, and Eritrea. The Indian ocean boarders Ethiopia. the latitude of Ethiopia is 10 degrees and the longitude is 40 degrees. It rains a lot and March- May are the warmest months there. Ethiopia is in Africa so it is like all the other places in Africa that you hear about. It is dry with lots of sand and the houses look run down. Ethiopia has a very little history although it is the oldest independent country in Africa. I am going to this location above all others because the volcano is an almost persistent lava lake. From Hawaii to Ethiopia is 10,432.24 miles. For a hotal car and the flight it costs me $7,242 to get to Ethiopia from Hawaii 2 stop flight.

First Location

The first place that I am going to stop is Hawaii. The valcanoes name is Mauna Loa It is in the United States. The capital of this country is Washington DC. The countries that boarder the U.S are Canada and Mexico. There are two bodies of water that boarder the country to and they are the Atlantic ocean and the Pacific ocean. The longitude is 160 degrees and the latitude is 20 degrees. The climate of Hawaii is very hot almost all the time. Hawaii has beaches everywhere because it is made up of a bunch of islands. In 1900 Hawaii became part of the united states. 1934 Franklin D Roosevelt was the first U.S president to visit Hawaii. Then on December 7th 1941 the Japanese bomb pearl harbor and then the U.S enter World War II. This location is important because It has the biggest Volcano in the U.S

Hello my name is Lea I am 20 years old. I am going to travel to Hawaii for most of my trip and then around the rest of the world to see if I can find valcanoes of massive size in Africa and the rest of the world. I am going on this trip because I am a scientist and I want to study the way of the earth from millions of years ago and this is the way that I am gonna start. I will develop new ways to do this I am just starting out easy. I am very excited about my trip the farthest that i have been is to Florida so this is a lot farther and a lot longer trip than I have ever been on. My family on the other hand is glad that I get to go but they feel they are going to miss me too much especially my mom she is being extra careful and giving me tests like if this happens what will i do and if I answer them wrong she tells me that i am to young and i can't go yet but she wont hold me back i know that she is just being mom.
